Southern District Health Board has multiple exciting opportunities for you to make your mark. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Radiation Therapists to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a permanent full-time, and part-time basis.
Mō te tūranga - About the role
The position involves working as part of a dynamic team utilising innovative technology and new initiatives to deliver contemporary radiation therapy to patients within the Otago and Southland regions.
We have 2 Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators equipped with ABC Breath hold equipment. We have BrainLab with Exactrac on our existing Varian Truebeam to continue to provide the National Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery Service for New Zealand and enhance our established SABR program. A Siemens go. Open Pro CT with Varian Respiratory Gating system and a number of other radiation oncology specific features. The department utilises the full suite of Elekta software including Monaco Treatment Planning System and MOSAIQ Patient Management System.

- Current registration with the MRTB and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand

Utu whānui - Salary range:
This role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($74,842 and Step 8 ($107,000 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-Based Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.
